You wont be getting DJI phantom levels of GPS auto pilot. I have battery voltage, RSSI, and total armed flight time as mu data. Most every flight controller out there has a built in "OSD/On Screen Display". I get a signal strength/RSSI input and battery charge state status on my video feed. The lower latency alone is why analog is favored but the ability to fly through snow on a faint hint of an image is also a huge plus. HD video will NOT do that, it will just disappear on you and you are shit outta luck. Analog will give you subtle and not so subtle hints to turn around but you can still see through the snow. One of my videos below is to a rather extreme range. Lower latency combined with a video signal that does not drop instantly if you lose packets.

My first goggles I transitioned to from a monitor were 16:9. That is important when you realize there are 16:9 cameras out there as well as 16:9 monitors/goggles. So MUCH of what we do for FPV flying is best served by cameras that see in 4:3 aspect ratio. What we are about to hit or what we want to avoid comes in from the top of the screen.
